How To Collect Missed Feathers
Today, Alice Otter is 5 years old. True, I've drawn less Than 130 strips as of yet, But I find it a little Achievement from my part, and I'm satisfied with the results.
I do not know if this Happens to Other Comics Creators, But I've Experienced Something really special while drawing this strip. I've come to know the characters so well That Some times, They Make Their 'own' reactions and comments, by me when I Unplanned Design the strip. Alice Otter, for instance, has this tendence to 'jump in' on strips Where She isn't supposed to Be a main character with comments That surprise me when I read Them. For instance, her last comment on this strip WAS unexpected When I Conceived the strip:
Or her sudden and spontaneous wish to use Lirodent on this strip:
Some Other times, her mere presence-and attitude-enrichens to strip and Makes it Funnies, as she evidently Enjoys Ms Huskinson's bad luck:
Truth Be Told, When I started the strip, I Never Thought I Would create So Many strips, Since I Was more a 'long history' type of cartoonist. I've managed to create a little world around Alice and the characters, an plenty universe with life and rich in details. I lov. Everything I've Enjoyed of the strip, the creation process, the final results of Every strip and put all the strips together. And, además, I've Learned a lot thanks to Alice Otter. Probably
That's why, all the Interruptions and Despit hiatii (sp?) I've had, I've continued drawing it. Even if it took me five years taking her to Hawaii!
